Rules

The field dimensions are 30 metres by 20 metres

Teams are made of 5 players and 3 reserves

We play according to the rules of 7-a-side, but without kicks and with the modifications listed below:

A try is worth 1 point.

Kick-off and re-starts are taken with a tap-kick in the center of the field

Scrums are replaced by tap kicks

Line-outs are replaced by tap-kicks 1m in the field + pass

Penalties are replaced by tap-kicks

“Scrums”, “line outs” and penalties in 5m zone are taken at 5 m

With penalties, line-outs and restarts, the defense retreats 5 meters.

3 second rule: get rid of the ball within 3 second of being caught with it by passing it or loose position. This rule does not apply if the player carrying the ball is advancing forward.

Game length: 2 x 7 minutes

Points: 3 win, 2 draw, 1 loss, 0 forfeit.

Both teams play in club-shirts or identical T-shirts.

Players who receive a yellow card are excluded for the whole game and can not be replaced.

Players who receive a red card are excluded for the whole tournament.

The competition organizer can always change the rules if circumstances demand it.
